| Description: | Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Observes, detects, and apprehends individuals involved in theft related activities.
Complies with all relevant state laws, regulations, and guidelines when detecting, apprehending, arresting and detaining shoplifters.
Communicates state laws, civil and criminal, to all apprehended subjects.
Provides surveillance of employees and customers to detect incompetence and dishonesty.
Documents, in detail, all investigative activities.
Acts as liaison with law enforcement.
Testifies on behalf of company in court proceedings.
Protects the assets of the company including property, facilities, equipment, cash, merchandise, and the safety of associates and customers.

| Qualifications: | High School degree or GED equivalent preferred. Prior loss prevention experience preferred. |
