| Description: | Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service by greeting, smiling, thanking and providing service to all customers.
Responsible for reacting to current business trends and executing future business direction.
Responsible for pricing of goods and services in order to stay competitive in the market and to maximize sales for specific product categories.
Follows sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, product displays and advertising copy.
Follows pricing policies on product according to requirements for profitability of store operations.
May be responsible for purchasing and negotiating product to determine most desirable suppliers and for ordering product to maintain stock levels.
May manage employee compliance with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
Ability to follow and enforce all policies, procedures, and regulations including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies.
Knowledgeable of all legal and safety regulations regarding warehouse and store equipment and consistently abides by and enforces the regulations.
Coordinates all activities related to procurement of a product beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
Analyzes the requirements of the product, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date product is needed. |
| Qualifications: | Education and/or Experience
High School degree or GED equivalent preferred. Two years related experience preferred.
